The heavenly gates opened on June 2, 2020 to welcome our beloved Pastor, husband, father, grandfather, godfather, brother, uncle and friend. Born on March 23,1962 in Baton Rouge, La to the late Louise Blunt and Willie Davis Jr.
Anthony L. Edward, affectionately known as "Lynnboy" or "Blunt" by family and friends grew up in Zion City, accepted Christ at an early age was baptize and a member of Greater Beach Groove B.C. under the leadership of the late Pastor Emmitt Spurlock. After serving there for many years he attended St. Michaels Bible Institution. He later was called and chosen to win souls for Christ, to preach and teach the uncompromised word of God. He became the Pastor of The House of Prayer and Powerful Word of God Ministry.
Anthony L. Edward was survived by his devoted and loving wife Rochell Edward, three sons Steven Jones, Anthony Edward Jr, and Antonio Edward, two daughters Ashley (Calvin) Raphile of Prosper Tx and Antoinette LeBeuf. Ten grandchildren JaLaysia Jones, Calvin Raphile Jr, Mikaela Raphile, Haiza Raphile, Deesha Bridges, Trent Hill, Destini, Aida Jenkins, Ava Edward, Ayden Jenkins. Two sisters Lorena Blunt, Tammy Blunt, three brothers Kenny Ray Blunt, Kerry (Karen) Blunt, Two Godsisters Patricia Londro and Bertha Williams, Eight godchildren Keosha Jones, Kiara Jones, Jasmine Joseph, Alexus London, Christopher Hartley, Tiara Parker, Nichelle Jones, Carlexus Bindom, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Anthony L. Edward was reunited in death with his parents Louise Blunt and Willie Davis Jr., Two Sisters Mary Blunt, Lois Flowers, Brother Willie Edward, Niece Shiquoya Blount, Grandparent Willie Davis Sr and Bessie Davis.
