Belinda Denise Strong was born on June 6, 1963 to Ernestine Pope. She attended Central High School then soon after worked for Women's Hospital for ten years in housekeeping. Belinda Denise Strong went home to be with the Lord in Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020 at Baton Rouge General Butterfly Wing. She was 56 years old. Although predeceased by her grandmother Irene Smith and her grandfather Calvin Smith, Belinda leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband of thirty-seven years Isiah Strong; her sons: Richard Marcus and Quinton Ellis (Tyeisha); her mother Ernestine Pope; sister Glynda Ellis; brothers: James Ray Ellis (Nat) and Willie Pope (Eloise); stepdaughter Janeisha Alexcee Strong; stepson Jawan Alexcee Strong; she also leaves behind 3 grandsons, 2 step-granddaughters and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
