Betty Ann Smith was born on June 18, 1978 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Curtis Lee Smith Sr. and Melanie O'Connor. She departed this life on Saturday, October 14, 2017 peacefully at her residence. Betty adored her family and loved spending quality time with her beautiful children. She had a special love for people, and always wanted to assist them in any way she could. She was formally employed as a CNA at St. James Place and currently employed at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She had a beautiful spirit and always kept a smile on her face. She loved her community, and cherished all of her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories the children: Alaric and Kayla Woodard, Mother: Melanie O'Connor and Sisters: Jamie Ann Smith, Mary Lee Brent-Willis, Evelyn Simmons, Danzar Williams, Sarah Frances Johnson, Joyce Marie Holiday, Brother: Curtis Lee Smith and a host of other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her father Curtis Lee Smith Sr., her adoptive mother, Sara Williams and adoptive father Hebert Johnson.
