Bienville Taylor III peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born on November 18, 1964 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Bienville Taylor II and Katie Mae Taylor. He was the youngest of their three children. His cherished memories are survived by his brothers Gerald Wayne Taylor, Tayrone Taylor; sister-in-law Helen Taylor; significant other Lucinda King, son Marcus Tanner; and grandchildren, Marques Tanner, Markajia Tanner, and Shemia Tanner and a host of other relatives and friends. Bienville, who was lovingly called "Boonie" by his family and friends, had a kind and laid-back demeanor. Those who knew Boonnie know he never liked being fussed over and would rather conduct himself in an unassuming manner. Boonnie would cook a delicious meal for his family and spend all day Sunday watching the NFL. By the grace of God, his kindness gave him the ability to care for his ailing grandmother until her passing. His unquestionable selflessness will truly be missed.
