Byron East was born on April 25, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Where he later attended Southern University and A&M College. He was a dedicated and hardworking manager for Pilkington North America.

Byron was deeply loved by all and will forever be remembered by his loved ones. Byron was a devoted husband to his wife Tanya East. Byron had one son, Deron Ruben. He is married to Johana Ruben. Byron has four sisters and one brother. Chrystal Williams (Kyle), Rita East-Wolf (Fred), Deneisetres Robertson (Faunce), Danielle Green, and D'Wayne East (Sherolene). He leaves to cherish his memories a host of in-laws, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Lubertha East Harris, his father Willie R. "Bill" Green Jr., his sister Andria East Joseph, grandmother Allie Rae East, and grandfather Frank East Sr,
