Charles Williams, age 84, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House, in Baton Rouge, LA., where he died from complications of heart failure. He was born in New Orleans, LA., where he lived most of his life. After Hurricane Katrina, in 2005, he became a resident of Baton Rouge, LA., where he resided until his death.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Mona Brown Gaspard (Douglas); five grandchildren, Teguelle Brown, Quentin Lance Brown, Ashley Brown, Jessica Brown, and Amber Brown Thomas (Joshua); sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, two nieces, Charlotte Lockhart Hendrix (Odell), Wilhelmina Moore, one nephew, Leonard Charles Moore (Diane), two great nephews, Terrell Moore (Monica), Roger Lockhart, Jr.(Kenya), two great great nephews and two great great nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Wilhelmina Williams, one sister Mona Mae Moore.

Relatives, friends, and employees of Raintree Landscaping are invited to attend his celebration of life.  Bishop Gregory Cooper will be officiating the services.
