Clarence Prophet was born on February 3, 1942 to the union of Isiah and Phillice Profit. He was the twelfth of thirteen children born of this union. He fell asleep in death on May 9, 2017 at his home.
He was married to his wife, Shelly on may 6, 1961. He and Shelly became the parents of three daughters and two sons.
Brother Prohey retired from Baton Rouge City Parish government, the Department of Public Works.
