Obituary

Sis. Fannie Bea Spurlock Stewart was born May 18, 1934 to Mack and Bessie Phillip Spurlock in Clinton, Louisiana. She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and united her membership with St. James Baptist Church under the late Reverend Jesse Lafayette. Later, she joined Five Fold Ministries Church under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Warren and Prophetess Sherita LeBrane. Sis. Fannie Bea Spurlock Stewart was united in marriage to the late Mathew "Buddy" Stewart on May 25, 1977 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. To their union five children were born: Deitra Williams Daniels, Barbara Monroe, Jonathan Leon Williams, James Hillard Stewart, and the late Willie Robert Hausey Jr. Sis. Fannie Bea Spurlock Stewart showed her love for God through songs and hymns. In her early Christian experience, she was a Psalmist that loved to sing in the choir. Her favorite songs were "He Touched Me", "Order My Steps", "His Eye is on the Sparrow", and "He Promised Me". In her later years, she served on the Deaconess Ministry until her failing health would not allow her to attend services. Sis. Fannie Bea Spurlock Stewart stepped across the threshold that we call death after a long bout with illness on September 29, 2018. The Lord decided it was time for Sis Fannie to take her rest from labor. Sis Fannie Bea Spurlock Stewart leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Barbara Monroe and Dietra Williams Daniels; two sons, Jonathan Leon Williams and James Hillard Stewart; two godchildren, Chequita Robertson and Wilhelmina Hitchens Collins; twenty-one grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Sis Fannie Bea Spurlock Stewart was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Bessie Phillip Spurlock; her husband, Matthew Stewart; a son William Robert Hausey; two granddaughters, Yashicka Hausey and Raven Pikes; and one son'-in-law, Rev Darryl James Monroe.
