Debra Turner Queen, transitioned at the age 53 years old on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Baton Rouge General in Baton Rouge, La. She was born on August 2, 1965 in Baton Rouge, LA. to Jessie and Caretha Turner.
Debra was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. She graduated from Central High School in 1983. She later graduated from Remington College in Billing and Coding. She was currently enrolled at Hope Bible Institute to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Christian Theology. She was an employee for Baton Rouge General for more than 15 years.
Debra married David Queen on December 14, 1997 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Debra was a prominent and devoted member of Treasures from Heaven Remnant's House Ministry for 13 years from the time they began their ministry in 2005 until she transitioned home.
Debra enjoyed serving her ministry where she work with the Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Woman of Warfare Ministry, Prison Ministry and Praise Team.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Caretha B. Turner and brother Jessie C. Turner.
Debra is survived by her husband, David Queen, four children David, Laterica, Jordan (Tionna) and Lashawnda Turner. Her father, Jessie Turner Jr. five sister Beverly (Johnny) Hamilton, Cotina McKnight, Tameka Burton, Sherry Turner, Tiffany (Fredrick) Benson and one brother, Willie D. (Lainez) Burton, 11 grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
