Dora was born on August 21, 1952 in New Orleans. LA to the late Alma Vallery Willis and Jessie Willis. Dora was employed with Bethany Nursing Home, Tulane Medical Center, Oschner Hospital and Wiser Security. Dora received her ordination later on in her life as a Minister of the Gospel. She was preceded in death by her parents Alma Vallery and Jessie (Pappa Jessie) Willis, husband Wallace Calvery, two daughters Keisha Windsor and Zelda Willis, a sister Sandra Simpson; three brothers Johnny Willis, George Willis, and Wesley Vallery. Dora leaves to cherish her memory Three daughters Shawn (Coleman) Allen, India Calvery Asah, and Tammy Windsor; Two sons Stephen Windsor and Samuel Calvery; one uncle Albert Vallery of Port Allen, LA; Two Son-in-Laws Vincent Asah and Keteria Allen; Two Daughter-in-laws Debra Windsor and Lilie Calvery, 23 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a very special friend Andrew Smith along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
