Obituary

Edmond George Frazier "George" "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me". Psalms 23 1-4 Edmond George Frazier was born to the late Charles Isah Frazier and Anna Bell Filer on October 16, 1952 in Lafayette, Louisiana; however the family later moved to New Orleans, La. for better opportunities. To his acquaintances and family, he was known as George. He enjoyed fishing wherever he thought there were fish. George was a very proud and stubborn man; don't be alarmed….. he would agree with these resemblances. He tackled life head on and wanted those he came in contact with to relax and breathe the same fresh air that he was breathing because no matter the situation, he remained calm. George was well respected and loved by those who spent time with him. We will miss hearing him say "tighten up" and "cut the noise out and rest your nerves". George is preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth Frazier and Charles Bernard Frazier. George leaves to cherish his memory 1 son- Kelvin Frazier of Baton Rouge, La. currently residing in Chesapeake, Va. 4 grandchildren- Kayla Frazier, Jonathan Frazier, Shawn Frazier and Jahniya Boyd. 7 siblings- Anna Elizabeth Frazier, Milton Wayne Frazier, Alzadia Francis Frazier Carter, Eric Renée Frazier, Howard Lane Frazier, Debra Lynn Frazier Whitley, Debra Jenetta Dearborne and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
