Eric Dotson, a life resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on June 29th 2020 at the age of 45 at the Baton Rouge General Hospital. Eric was born December 2, 1974 to James and Lillie Dotson. He was loyally at Volunteers of America for years until he was unable to do so any longer. Eric enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing and watching sports and getting pampered by his Aunt Gwen. Eric was born with Down Syndrome which made him extra special. Eric was a very happy person, full of love and joy. He was a delight to everyone that crossed his path. Eric is survived by his parents James and Lillie Dotson, loving sister Jeretta D. Antoine, brother in law Gregory J. Antoine, aunts Gwendolyn A. Dotson and Vermar Hargrove, uncles McDaniel (Mary) Dotson and Arthur L. Dotson and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
