Ernest “Lil Boogie” Meyers, III, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on December 10, 2025. He was born on April 24, 1984, to Ernest Meyers, Jr. and Carolyn Black West. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend.

Ernest received his education in the public school system of East Baton Rouge Parish.

Ernest was introduced to the Lord at an early age and continued steadfast in his faith.

Ernest enjoyed working with his hands and took great pride in his work. He was employed with Watkins and Williams Stucco Company and Crump Construction.

Ernest leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Carolyn West; his stepfather, Tracy West; three brothers, Adonis Meyers, Trent Meyers, and Christian West (Ernesha); four daughters, Anailah Henderson, Kaleyah Meyers, Alayah Meyers, and Abriana Meyers; one son, Matthias Meyers; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Meyers, Jr.; his paternal grandfather; and his maternal grandparents.
