Gloria Dean Taylor Gloria Dean Taylor, "Glo" as she was affectionately known was born, August 21, 1947 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The oldest of five children born to the late Andrew Taylor and Mary Jane Sampson Taylor was called to her heavenly home Thursday, May 20, 2021. Glo graduated from McKinley Senior High School in Baton Rouge, La. Glo leaves to cherish her memory; husband: Luther Sanford, Jr.; son, Jarrett Taylor; brother; Gordon (Gwendolyn) Taylor, all of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister; Paula Taylor (Calvin) Branch, of Killeen, TX; one sister-in-law; Rose Taylor; two grandchildren, JaKylin R. Taylor and Leah Taylor and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mary Jane Taylor; a son, Dana Andrew Taylor; a brother, Terry L.
