The beautiful life of Gloria Dean Terry came to an end on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Baton Rouge General surrounded by her family. She was born July 17, 1941 in Clinton, LA. Gloria was educated in the East Feliciana Parish School System. Gloria was united in Holy Matrimony on July 20, 1957 to the late William Terry, Jr. This loving union lasted 54 years. She was a dedicated homemaker. She loved caring for her family and cooking her famous sweet potato pies. Gloria leaves to cherish her precious memories one son William Terry III, four daughters Gail (John) Campbell, Teresa (Marvin) Parks, Sharon (Ralph) Taylor all of Baton Rouge, LA; Colette (James) Romeo of Fort Lauderdale, Fl.; One step-daughter Bonnie Payne of Baton Rouge. La.; a loving aunt Elizabeth Odom of Baker, La, Two sisters-in-law Geraldine Johnson and Elizabeth Terry; One brother-in-law Charles Terry all of Baton Rouge, La. Ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, a nephew, relatives and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her Husband William Terry Jr, Mother Mandy Odom, Grandson Bryant Taylor, Great Granddaughter Jade Taylor and one son-in-law Harrison Payne.
