Gwendolyn Williams was born December 9, 1956, to the parents of the late Mable J. Cooper and Frank Cooper, Sr. On September 10, 2017, Gwen's task was complete here on earth. So, God wrapped his loving arms around her and took her home. Gwen accepted Christ at an early age. She was a devoted member at Now Faith COGIC Church. She worked at Chevron where she was loved by many. Gwen was a devoted sister, mother and grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband: Richard Williams III; Eight children; Carissa Williams, Christina Williams, Shannon Williams, Richard Williams IV (Temera), Brittney Stewart (Clifford, Jr.), Brandon Williams, Tyrone Williams(Anna), Kivee Fleming, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Twenty-one grandchildren, Three great grandchildren, Three sisters: Connie Bailey, Deborah Browder, Robin Barnes; one brother; Frank Cooper Sr.; Four sister-in-laws; Brenda Odom, Janice Patterson, Barbara perkins, Jacklyn Jarvis; one brother-in-law; Curtis Williams; a devoted friend; Ms. Doris Hebert and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Proceeded in death by her parents Mable and Frank Cooper, Sr. Two brother; Jerome, Tyrone Cooper. Grandparent; Odeal Lyons, Willie Lyons; Aunt; Margie Whitaker; Two uncles; Alexander James, Willie Kelly.
