IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Harold Felix Brown Sr.
Sunrise: August 12, 1940 – Sunset: February 8, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold Felix Brown, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who departed this life on February 8, 2026.
Harold was born on August 12, 1940, in Clinton, Louisiana, to his mother, Dora Campbell, and his father, Hardy Brown, Sr. He was a God-fearing man and a faithful member of Ever Increasing Life Ministries. A kind and gentle soul, Harold was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and the kind words he shared with everyone he met. He truly had a heart of gold and found joy in giving to others and showing kindness, a reflection of the scriptures he loved and lived by.
Harold was united in marriage to Geraldine McCalope Brown, and together they built a loving family. He was a devoted father whose care, guidance, and steady presence meant more than words can express. His love also shined brightly in the special care and attention he gave to his granddaughter Chelsea Beardon and her son, Xaviel Felix Jessie Francois.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Dora Campbell and Hardy Brown, Sr.; his beloved wife, Geraldine McCalope Brown; his brothers Leon Brown, William Brown, and his twin brother, Albert Brown; his sisters Ruth Cannon, Mary Harris, Ethel Brown, Beverly Brown, and Delores Brown; and his children Harold Brown Jr. and Jean Snowden.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Carolyn Johnson and Clara Canon; grandchildren Emanuel Constance III, Joseph McCalope, Cordell Johnson, Kiwanier McCalope, Ashley Moman, Chelsea Beardon, Carl Snowden Jr., Antonio Johnson, and Kyla Johnson; great-grandsons Xaviel Felix Jessie Francois, and Daihlon Snowden, and great- granddaughter Cahlani Snowden along with a host of other great grand children, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and church family who will forever hold him in their hearts.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. The family viewing will take place on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
