Helen Marie Jones Walls was born December 24th, 1938 to the union of the late Sicily Jackson and Mitchell Jones in Port Vincent, Louisiana. On Tuesday, June 5TH, 2018 at the Ochsner Hospital, she departed this life and went home to be with her heavenly farther. She was 79 years old. Helen attended school in Port Vincent. She accepted Christ at an early age. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and working in her garden. She also loved to read and study the bible. She was a devoted wife, mother and caretaker of her grandchildren. She leave to mourn and cherish her memory to two sons Ronnie Lee Jones (Karen) and Derrick Walls, one sister, Lena Grant and two brothers, James Williams Jones Sr. and Leonard Jones (Teresa) and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Walls, her daughter Carolyn Jones, mother Sicily Jackson Jones, father Mitchell Jones, two sisters Irene Bickman and Inez Johnson, and four brothers Lester, Fred, Russell and Acy Jones.
