Henry Tate, Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed on April 10, 2021 at his residence. He was the first of nine children born to the union of the late Henry Tate, Sr. and the late Julia Link Tate on April 15, 1945 in White Castle, Louisiana. Henry was a United States Army Veteran and a Retired Baton Rouge City Parish Waste Management Supervisor.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife of 53 years, Rose Tate, daughters, Tomeka Tate-Clayton and Nicole Grogan (Elvin), son Bryant Keith Henderson, two granddaughters, Taja Tate and Deja Grogan, two grandsons, Octayvien Tate and Orion Clayton, five sisters, two brothers, an aunt, an uncle, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
