Hosey "OC" White was born on April 2, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the union of the late Lauris and Rosa Mae (Haynes) White. He was raised and resided in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
In October 2017, OC heard the voice of the Lord. He passed away at his home.
At an early age, OC accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was later baptized at Elm Grove Baptist Church by the late Reverend J. R. Williams.
OC attended and graduated from Capitol Senior High School. Before retiring, he worded in maintenance for the City of Baton Rouge and Walmart Sores, Inc.
OC lived a carefree and sociable life. He was a well-known individual who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
OC leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Dianne (Willie) Page of Baton Rouge, LA; his brother, Joseph ( Betty) White, Sr. of Jefferson, LA; his nieces, Dionne Morgan of Baker, LA and Danielle Mars of Baton Rouge, LA; his special relatives, Martha Robertson and her family, all of Baton Rouge, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends.
OC is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lauris White; one sister, Mary White; two brothers, Kenneth Ray White and Lauris White, Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles, and friends.
OC will be missed dearly by all who knew him and loved him, but God loved him best.
