Isola Cain was born on April 7, 1936 to the union of Moses and Anna Jones. She was a native of Liberty, MS and a resident of Baker, LA. Isola accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. Isola married Junior Cain. To that union four children were born. Isola was a loving, caring, and devoted mother to her six daughters and two sons.
Isola was peacefully called home to glory at the age of 81 on June 23, 2017 at Lane Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughters Regina (Anthony) Douglas, Jessie Lewis, Estelle Lee, and Annie Steward all of Baton Rouge, Tonya (Charles) Vessel of Baker, LA; a Brother, Moses Jones, Jr. Baton Rouge, LA ; 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Isola was preceded in death by her father and mother Moses and Anna Jones; Sisters Eliza, Lucille, Emma, Thelma, Aggie; Brothers Henry , Jeff, and Louis; Daughter Martha Cain; Sons June and Jerry Cain; and five grandchildren Melissa Cain, Keisha Gross, Marcus and Kevin Stewart, and Quiet Lewis.
