James Oliver Abram (79) passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Baton Rouge Healthcare Center. James was born to the parentage of Daniel and Ollie Lehman Abrams on July 8, 1941 in Mansura, Louisiana. James retired from the State of Louisiana, Office of Juvenile Justice (LTI).
James will be remembered for his strong Christian faith and being a devoted and active member of Calvary Lutheran Church. James' gardening expertise, poetry, laughter and sense of humor will be missed by all those who loved him.
James leaves precious memories for his devoted spouse, Michelle ABRAM; best buddy, King; brothers, Paul Abrams and Elihue Abrams, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Wayne (Yvonne) Abrams of Ontario, California; sister, Shirley Abrams of Phoenix, Arizona; Godchildren Jazlyn Bolling of Huston, TX and Joshua Abrams, Ontario California; Sisterly cousin, Cheryl Looney Johnson, Detroit, Michigan; special niece, Deon (Wayne) Bolling, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; step-children, Renada (Adrain) Deschamp and John Keller, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; father-n-law , Reverend Lionel (Evelyn) Johnson, Sr. of St Gabriel, Louisiana; special sister-in-law, Patti Jo Kelly, Columbia, South Carolina, Alisa Jackson and Sonja Granger, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; special brother-in-law, Rev. Lionel Johnson, Jr; numerous aunts, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends, including his Calvary Lutheran Family.
James was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Rowe Abram, parents, grandparents and one brother.
