On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, Jeffery Jerome Livous, "Jeff" was called home to be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 60.
He was born to the (late) George L. Livous, Sr. and Matilda P. Livous on November 4, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana, one of five children.
He was baptized at an early age by the late Rev Dr. W. M. Pitcher at the Sixty-Aid Baptist Church. He recently re-dedicated his life to Christ and joined Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Jeffery attended school in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. He attended Robert E. Lee High School. He was self-employed, a professional painter and sheet rock finisher.
He developed and perfected these skills from his father. He enjoyed watching all types of sports. His favorite football team was the New Orleans 'Saints" and basketball team was the Boston "Celtics".
He also enjoyed barbecuing for his family. He always kept you smiling, laughing and most of all, Jeff kept it real.
Jeffery was united in holy matrimony to Shenelle Washington Livous on February 14, 2004.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Shenelle Washington Livous: children: three son; Adran J. Livous, Jeffery J. Livous, Jr., and Jarrel Livous, two daughters; Ashley J. Livous (Yamon), and Akeriyon Livous; two step-daughters Brittany (Bobby) Kimble and Aisha Blake; Mother, Matilda P. Livous; three brothers; George, Jr. (Mecho), Michael (Theresa), Mark; one sister; Bernadine L. Lorraine (frank); mother-in-law: Linda Chenevert; three brothers-law; Clifton Chenevert (Kesha), Rodney Washington (Crystal), and McArthur Washington; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; a God daughter, Stephanie Livous. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his father Goerge L. Livous, Sr., granddaughter, Madison, step-son, Di'Ante Washington, sister-in-law, Barbara Livous, father-in-law, McArthur Washington, Sr. and grandparents.
