John Weldon Green Sr. was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on February 4, 1947 to the union of Eddie Ross Green and Josie Wilkerson Green. He grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ later in life. John attended McKinley High. He entered eternal rest at Infinity Nursing Home. He leaves to mourn: (3) daughters, Paula Tierson, Shynevia Winters (Willie) , Carolyn Smith (Berry) all of Baton Rouge, LA and (1) Son; John Weldon Green Jr. (Alicia) of St. Gabriel, LA. (2) sisters Mary G. Wills and Carolyn G. Smith both of Baton Rouge, LA. (8) grand kids and (13) great-grand kids. And a host of relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his father Eddie Ross Green Sr., mother Josie Wilkerson Green, (3) brothers , Eddie Ross Green Jr., Blanchard Green and James Green, (1) son, Emanuel Beals.
