Johnson "J. V." Veal was born September 6, 1957 in St. Francisville LA to Tom Butler Veal and Amanda Cummings Veal. He departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at his home. Johnson "J.V" attended Scotlandville High School. He was employed as a home renovator and contractor. Johnson's hobbies included motorcycling, art and crafts, and entertaining his grandchildren. He was an active member of the Jubilee Christian Center. Johnson "J.V." leaves to cherish his memories children: Troy Veal (Pamela Worthy Veal), Tyjuana Harris, Tasha Harris and Tanilea Harris, sixteen grandchildren, one brother: Butler Veal, one sister: Rose Anderson and a host of other relatives and friends. V." was preceded in death by his parents Tom Butler Veal, Sr. and Amanda Cummings Veal: daughter: Amanda Veal, Siblings: Florence Glover, Lola Mae Washington, Floyd Veal, Jimmy Veal, Jeffery Veal and Eunice Dunn.
