Joseph Lee Ennis known as Joe was born December 26, 1955 to Bertha Starwood Ennis and the late Bobby Ennis in New Orleans, Louisiana. He died peacefully August 14, 2020. Joe was a big tough guy with a big heart. He loved martial arts, he even earned a third degree black belt in karate. He served in the Army and law enforcement as a deputy sheriff in East Baton Rouge Parish. He never met a stranger and was adored by everyone he came in contact with. He is survived by his mother Bertha Twine, brother Charles Ennis of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, sister Barbra Ann Jones of Fort Worth, Texas, daughter Sabrina Ennis Morgan of Zachary, La, son Joshua Ennis of Baton Rouge, La, two granddaughters LaQuita Ennis and Nia Morgan of Zachary, Louisiana a great-grandson Julius Fisher and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
