Kela Tabitha Mungal was born on Sunday, January 31, 1988, to the late Louis James Dunn, Sr. and Carol Mungal. On Thursday, August 15, 2024, God in His mercy and wisdom saw fit to pluck a beautiful rose from His earthly garden.

Kela accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Highland Presbyterian Church.

Kela loved children and spent her time spoiling all the ones around her.

This really put a smile on her face. Kela graduated from East Baton Rouge Arts & Technology School. She quickly joined the workforce securing jobs at Walmart, Captain D's, Lowe's

Home Improvement, Home Depot, and Dollar Tree.

Kela always had a dream of becoming an entrepreneur, so she stepped out on faith and launched her own juice line, Kela's Juice, as CEO of her own company. Her recipe was sure to put a smile on her customers' faces.

Kela leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving mother, Carol Mungal; two brothers, Louis and Kyle Dunn; three sisters: Erica Dunn, Kiesha Andrews, and Tyesha Andrews; God sister, Nola Mungal; four uncles: Ruben (Charlene) Hansraj, Garry (Lalita) Hansraj, Lincoln (Stacy Ann)

Hansraj, Harold (Sarah) Mungal; two aunts, Sherry and Peggy Hansraj; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kela was preceded in death by her father, Louis James Dunn, Sr.; grandparents, Roy Mungal and Nola Hansraj; uncle, Errol Mungal; and cousin, Joshua Jarrell.
