LaQuetra Chiettae' Pidgeon was born March 8, 1983 to the union of the late David Rogers and Kornelia Belinda Pidgeon of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. "Quetra" as she was affectionately called by family and Friends, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Dr. Q. T. Ellis at the Fairview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. "Quetra" a beloved daughter, mother and friend, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, December 9, 2017. She leaves to cherish her memories, three beautiful children, James, Jamon and Jalacia Sanders; mother, Kornelia Belinda Pidgeon; two sisters, LaQueshia and LaCosheia Pidgeon; grandmother, Hattie M. Pidgeon; aunts, Alice Pidgeon, Rosemary Spurlock, and Carolyn Roger; uncles, Donald Pidgeon and Mark Pidgeon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of Baton Rouge. LaQuetra was preceded in death by David Rogers (father); Lemonte' D. Pidgeon (brother); Donald R. Pidgeon, Sr. 9grandfather); and Steven K. Thomas (uncle).
