LaTonia "Tonia" Denise Perry was born in Oakland, California on November 4, 1973, to Vivian McMillan and Bennie Wakefield, Jr. She moved to San Diego, California with her mother in 1989 and then relocated to Fluker, Louisiana in 2003.

A woman with a beautiful heart, Tonia was known to love cooking, love doing hair, and love her family.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Vivian and Bennie, and her twin grandchildren Kayden Venible and Khloe Venible.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Andrew Brown, Raymond Flournoy, Tatyana Mitchell, and Ja'Keyra Perry; siblings: Tasha Wakefield, Jimmy McMillan, Julietta McMillan, April Wakefield-Spikener, and Paris (Wakefield) Lawless; grandchildren: Josiah Brown, Journee Perry, Logan Mitchell, and a host of family and friends who love her dearly.
