LEAH "Leo Jr." Anderson Leah "Leo Jr." Anderson (72), known as "Kitten," entered into eternal rest at Baton Rouge General Mid City on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is survived by his oldest child, a daughter whom he was extremely proud of, Dr. Vickie (Bruce) Auguste, known as "Visa." His other surviving children include Leo, Freda, Willie (Longet), Thayer, and Lisa Price; Tracey (Albert) Lang; Latasha (Joseph Jr.) Jackson; and Shauna Anderson; 23 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Bernice Anderson Badie and Mary Lee Shelmire; and a favorite cousin, Betty (Morris) Murray of Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Sr. and Wille Mae Anderson; grandparents, Eugene and Ellen Cage; son, Leon Price; brother, Albert Anderson; seven aunts, including his favorite, Viola Carr, whom was like a second mother; two uncles; two nephews, Felton C. Anderson and Johnny L. Shelmire, Jr.; wife, Rubystine Jones Anderson; and a long-time companion, Clara Mae Price. Following a private family memorial, the deceased will be cremated, per his request.
