Obituary

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain." Mamie Ludean Rowe was born September 23, 1944. She was the fifth child of seven born to the union of Willie Rowe and Sarah Hughes Rowe. She departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 73. Mamie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Redwood Baptist Church in Zachary, Louisiana by Reverend Albert Anderson. She attended Northwestern High School and later received professional medical training. After relocating to Baton Rouge, she married Larry E. Robinson. She also became a member of Union Baptist Church, where she attended and served as a Deaconess until her health began to fail her. Sister Rowe- Robinson was a Medical Assistant to Dr. Jan Benanti for Several years. She was a loving and caring person, a devoted wife, sister and friend. Her zest for life contributed to her being loved by all she met. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Larry E. Robinson ; one sister, Gloria Marie (Jesse) Williams of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two sister-in-law, Gloria (Burl) Tuner and Deloris (Donald) Walton; one brother-in-law, McArthur (Jeanette) Rodinson; one God- daughter; Gaylen Turner; one God-brother, Robert Worthy; a special nephew, Quentin Jacobs; a special grand-daughter, Tierra Rowe; and a host of nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Sarah Rowe; paternal grandparents, Jasper and Ludean Rowe; three sister, Gloria Bell Abrams, Mary Jackson and Alice Scott; two brother, Ezekiel and Allen Rowe; one Godson, Jerome Rowe; one brother-in-law, Edward Scott; and two sisters-in-law, Bessie and Emma Rowe.
