IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Marie Morgan
Beauchamp
March 24, 1934 – October 16, 2024
Mary Marie Morgan Beauchamp, born on Saturday, March 24, 1934, in Hamburg, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at 1:59 AM on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
A born caregiver, Mary devoted her life to nurturing others. She achieved certification and licensure as a foster parent, fostering over 40 children. Mary was also a devoted stepmother.
In addition to her parenting, Mary earned numerous certifications, including those in CPR, poison control, and child abuse prevention. These accomplishments reflected her deep commitment to the safety and well-being of others.
Mary was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to a host of grandchildren, and her family was her pride and joy.
She is survived by her children: Princesteen Morgan Ealy, Shanona Y. McCelos, Sharona T. Beauchamp, Errick R. Beauchamp, and Sharena S. Dumaine, and many others who carry forward her legacy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Loyal Beauchamp, and sons: John L. Carter, George Carter, Jr., and Derrick R. Beauchamp.
Her unwavering dedication to her family and community will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
