Mary Louise Guidry passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at The Carpenter’s House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 90. Born, She was born January 26, 1936 in Rayne, La where she was raised and lived until much later in life.

Mary was a woman deeply rooted in faith, family, and love. She loved God wholeheartedly and shared that love with everyone she encountered. She found joy in worshiping at Jubilee Christian Center, connecting with others, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dallas Guidry Jr.; two sons, Wallace and Larry Guidry; grandson, Kalen Joseph Nelson; and her siblings.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Flemond Joseph Guidry Sr. (Cynthia), and Cardell Guidry (Bridget); four daughters, Deborah Ann Olowos (Salau), Sandra Guidry, Linda Nelson (Bruce), and Norma Senegal (Ricky); along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mary’s legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her. The family sincerely thanks everyone who has offered prayers, kind words, and support during this time. Your love and compassion have been truly comforting.
