Sister Naomi "Bell" Fisher Riley was born to the late Henry Fisher, Sr. and Adeline B. Fisher on October 30, 1924 in Clinton, LA. She departed this earthly life on Friday May 27, 2016 at her home. She was baptized at an early age and was a member of Greater Sixty-Aid Baptist Church the majority of her life. She served as a cook for various schools and private facilities during her career. She welcomed many into her home with great joy to host dinners. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit and humble demeanor. She took pride in her grandchildren who she helped rear during her younger years. Her most joy was getting up on Sunday mornings to attend church, never leaving home without her hat and gloves. Naomi'' s memory will forever live through her daughters, Barbara Chenevert, Desota, TX, Patricia Williams, Baton Rouge, LA, and stepdaughter Doris George, sons, Donald Ray (Lhai) George, Killeen, Texas & Michael George, Baton Rouge, LA; siblings, Olivia Knox, Greenwell Springs, LA, Leroy ( Shirley) Fisher, Zachary, LA; grandchildren, William George, Kimberly Williams(DarianClark), Toni Williams, Carlton Williams, Brandy Williams, Dwayne Latimore, Michael W George, Mya George, Michaela George, Ken George, Kei George, Angelo George, Caleb George, Bianca George, Dionne Simms, Preston Simms, and Cassandra Simms; great grandchildren, Cameron Rogers & Malaysia George; and a host of nieces&nephews. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, George Riley; parents Henry Fisher Sr & Adeline B Fisher; siblings, Henry Fisher, Jr. , Joseph Fisher, Freddie Fisher, John T Fisher, Ida Johnson, Martha Roberson, Louise French, Nettie Hawkins, and Addie Carter; stepson Frank George.
