Norris Morrison, Jr., born August 12, 1940, to the union of Norris Morrison, Sr. and Fannie E. Morrison, entered into eternal rest at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice on Monday, September 1, 2020. He was a retired owner/operator of C&N Trucking Company. He was a truck driver for 55 years. He graduated from Iberville High School in 1959 and soon after enlisted in the U. S. Army where he served and received an honorable discharge. He received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. To God be the glory! Norris leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Sheryl E. Morrison, two sons, Cleveland J. Morrison, Sr., Leodrey K. Morrison, Sr. (Titiana); sister, Doretha Morrison Provost; a devoted grandson, Maurice J. Morrison, Sr. grandchildren: Cleveland J. Morrison, Jr., Leodrey K. Morrison, Jr., LeAndre Morrison, Phylidessia Morrison, Brittany Wright, Nena Morrison, Olivia Morrison, Lakela Palmer, Dikisha Hardnett Viges, sisters-in-law, Mary Morrison, Mary Joseph, Margaret A. Jackson, Janice A. Williams (Leodrey), Gladys A. Parker (Sam), Rebecca Anderson Banks, brothers-in-law, Monroe Anderson, Sr, Leon Anderson, Sr. (Loretta), and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 47 years, Clotee Anderson Morrison, daughter, Judy Morrison-Tucker, son Ricky Dewayne Morrison, Sr.; sister, Irene Morrison; brothers; Felix Joseph, Ernest Morrison, and Norvel Morrison; grandsons, Ricky Dewayne Morrison, Jr. and Desmond Hardnett, brothers-in-law, Robert Provost, Willie Anderson, David Anderson, Lu Allen Anderson, William Jackson, and sister-in-law Earnestine Anderson.
