A native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 at OLOL-RMC. He was 62 and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Charise (Byron) Washington, Sharecker Thomas and Qiana Armstead; sisters, Debra (Charles) Clark, Jr., Verna Gail (Richard) Knight and Carla D. Thomas; and brothers, Michael Thomas, Sylvester (Sara) Thomas and Brian Keith Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy Thomas, Sr. and Irene Thomas.
