Plauise Edward Brumfield, 53, of Baton Rouge, LA, succumbed to death in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family on May 6, 2020. Plauise is survived by wife Mary of 20 years; 4 sons, Plauise 'PJ' Brumfield Jr., Aaron Davis, Allen Cotton, Andre Cotton; 2 daughters, Marlena Cotton, Erica Davis; mother, Cora B. Stewart; 4 brothers, Curtis Brumfield, Jearod Stewart, Edward Johnson, Patrick Evans; 2 sisters, Sheldran Stewart-Taylor, LaTara Stewart. Plauise is also survives by 8 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 1 great granddaughter, as a host of other family members. Plauise loved football and basketball. He was a dedicated worker who helped his family and friends in any way he could. He was preceded in death by father, Joe Ray Vernon, and both maternal and fraternal grandparents.
