Raymond "Mikey" Marmillion transitioned into heaven unexpectedly at home on April 21, 2024, in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of forty-two.

Raymond is survived by his parents, Raymond and Gwen Marmillion of Baton Rouge, LA; siblings, brother, Ryan (Jasmine) Marmillion of Baton Rouge, LA, sister, Joy (Rev. Junius) Egby, and nephew, Treston Egby all of Opelousas, LA. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Rosalie Marmillion of Gramercy, LA, maternal grandparents, Claude and Selecia Davis of Jennings, LA, paternal uncle, Ronald Marmillion of Gramercy, LA, maternal uncles, Claude Davis, Jr. and Gerald Davis of Jennings, LA, Sr., maternal aunts Claudia Faye Janice, Jacqueline Bias, and cousin, Sabrina Janice all of Jennings, LA.

Raymond was born on July 9, 1981, in Baton Rouge, LA to Raymond and Gwen Marmillion. He received his GED. His family remembers him as a kind and gentle soul who pursued his goals relentlessly. Raymond was an accomplished artist talented in painting and drawing. Raymond's work has often been featured as murals or in art galleries around the City of Baton Rouge. He was a generous, dedicated, loving, warm, funny, and loyal individual who loved expressing himself through art. He was passionate about his family, supporting other rising artists, entrepreneurs, and being present in the moment.

Visitation is scheduled at 9AM to 11AM, with a rosary at 9:30AM. Raymond's funeral service is scheduled to begin at 11AM on May 3, 2024, at Winnfield Funeral Home at 7221 Plank Road, Baton Rouge, LA.
