Ricky Dale Lee Departed this life on Friday, June 19, 2026. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on November 16, 1968, to the late Lorraine Lee Moore, and lovingly reared by John Edward Moore Sr.
Ricky's life was a tapestry of vibrant colors and varied experiences, marked by a remarkable ability to connect with those around him. A graduate of Clinton High School's Class of 1987, he went on to excel in a multitude of roles, showcasing his diverse talents as an artist, cook, and a truck driver. Despite the many paths his career took, Ricky's true passion lay in the simple joys of life—cooking and fishing, pursuits that brought him peace and happiness.
Ricky's legacy lives through his children: Shatori (Cedric) Bradley, Rickayla Lee, and Alieyah Johnson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Azaree Lee of Lakeland, Florida. He adored his seven grandchildren, who were the light of his life and the proudest testament to his enduring spirit. Ricky is also survived by his siblings, two sisters, Mary Moore of Baker, Louisiana, Kernesha (Marlos) O'Conner of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, along with his brother, John Edward Moore Jr and Dad (Robert Self Sr).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Lee Moore and grandparents Charlie and Mary Lee.
