Robert Charles Allen (Bubba) was born January 5, 1955, in Baton Rouge, La. He was the fourth child of ten children. On Thursday, December 7, 2017, he entered into eternity peacefully at North Point Health Care, at the age of 62. Robert was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Doyle E. Billups. Robert loved plants as well as fishing and eating the freshly fried fish. He also loved working with his hands, building, fixing and welding. Robert is survived by his wife Clara L. Allen, five daughters; Wanda M. Jones (Glenn), Tina, Kendra, Tasha Moore & La'Fonda M. Hawkins (Joe) all of Baton Rouge, four sisters; Missionary Bernadine A. Harris (Freddie) of Las Vegas, NV., Minister Ramona A. Henry (Alvin), Betty A. Young and Lisa Allen all of Baton Rouge, three brothers; Pastor Don Allen, David Hudson and Mark Allen all of Baton Rouge, four sister in laws; Peggy Palmer, Delores L. Watts (Alvin), Sharon L. Williams (Corey), Burnadette Palmer, two brother in laws; Burnell Palmer (Elsia Deneice) and Phillip Louding all of Baton Rouge, three aunts; Mary Louise Houston of Baton Rouge, Pearl A. Taylor of Detroit MI (James) and Daisy Allen of Norfolk, Va., four Uncles; James Allen, Josh Taylor and Leo West, of Baton Rouge, and James Taylor of Detroit, MI., eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Lucille B. Allen, two sisters; Emma Jean Allen and Joyce A. Sims, three aunts; Mable A. Taylor, Viola A. Leblanc and Lizzie West, three uncles; Earl Allen, Henry Allen Jr. and Charles Allen, grandparents; Henry Sr. and Lucille Allen, three nephews; Darren Harris, Corey Sims and Frank Lamont Allen, one niece; Patricia Marie Allen.
