Born July 3, 1955, to Genette Smith and the Rogers Smith, God called Ronald home August 4, 2015. He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn Floyd Smith; two sons Marco and Brian Smith; his mother and step-father Genette and Walter Lacey; two brothers Anthony (Deborah) and Carl (Annalisa) Smith; one sister Meta (Leroy) Davis all of Baton Rouge, LA. Two aunts Irene (Warren) Pitre and Annette (Carl) Wilford all of Baton Rouge, LA. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Rogers Smith, paternal grandparents Moses and O'neal Smith, maternal grandparents Wilbert and Ernestine Green. Visitation Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 5262 Prescott Road, Baton Rouge, LA, from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 10:00 AM.
