Roosevelt Hafford departed this life on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 79 years old, a native of Bachelor, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, La. Roosevelt is survived by his devoted wife, Glenda Hafford; two sons, Cedric (Janice) Hafford and Kevin Spears; five daughters, Charita (Keith) Ellis, Chiquita Coston, Karon Chapman, and Taylor Wright all of Baton Rouge, La; Gwendolyn Colbert of Galverston, Texas; one sister, Shirley H. Long one brother, Leonard Hafford; A host of grandchildren , great grandchilden, other relatives and friends. Roosevelt was a devoted member of the Legendary Lighthouse Gospel Singers for fifty-four years. He was a member of Promised Land Baptist Church. Roosevelt is preceded in death by his parents Alex and Minnie Hafford, three sisters and three brothers.
