Sarah Parker McFadden native of Natchez, Mississippi was born to the union of Louis Parker and Elizabeth Graham Parker on August 9, 1943.
Sarah was the second child of twelve children. She was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Fudge Green at Pleasant Green Baptist Church.
Sarah was united in marriage to Caesar Adams Sr. in 1960 and to this union two children were born. In 1967 Sarah and her family relocated to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she became a member of The Pleasant Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Charles Stewart.
Sarah later joined Capitol Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend E. B. Robertson and later served under Pastor Ronald Robertson. Sarah was united in Holy Matrimony to Louis McFadden 1980. She was a 26 years retiree of The East Baton Rouge Parish School System. For the past three years Sarah worked as a food service supervisor and cook at Promise Pride Enterprises Inc. (Promise Pride Adult Day Health Care Center) in Baker, LA., where she enjoyed serving her new found friends with a spirit of excellence.
Sarah became a dedicated member of Heartline Ministries Church of Baker, LA in 2014 and served faithfully as the First Mother of the Church until her death. Sarah loved being in the fellowship of believers and rejoiced at every opportunity. She untiringly operated in her Godgiven
purpose of sharing the love of God with everyone who she came in contact with.
Sarah loved her family with an uncompromising love. She was the glue that held her family together. Expressing her love for the Lord through praise, prayer, worship, giving and serving was her forte. Sarah leaves to cherish her memories one son, Caesar Adams, Jr.; four daughters, Barbara Clark, Gloria Matthews, Doris (Lloyd) Robinson and Pamela (Derrick) Bradford; three sisters, Dorothy Grant, Ruby (Robert) Hughes, and Mary (Larry) White; three brothers, Henry (Mary) Grim, Leslie Johnson, and George (Roslyn) Johnson; eighteen grandchildren,
and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth (Joseph) Johnson; Louis Parker, maternal and paternal grandparents, her daughter-in-law Gail Cosey Adams, five brothers Eli Glover, Jessie Johnson , Joseph Johnson Jr., Johnny Johnson, and Charles Johnson.
