She had a love for life, a joyful spirit, and a listening ear. Terrilyn C. Jones was a mother, a friend, a confidant, and someone you could genuinely trust. She was born and raised in South Baton Rouge and was a graduate of McKinley Sr. High School. She went on to earn her Bachelors degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Accounting with a minor in Finance. She loved to talk, but was always available to just listen. Her hobbies were reading, cooking, playing puzzle games, and dancing. So much so that she didnt even let a wheelchair stop her stepping. Over the years her faith was tried, as her physical body began to fail her. And though she was tested, she never threw in the towel. She fought to the end. Some of her last words was a declaration of her faith. Baby, Im not ready to go yet, but Imma keep praying and trusting God. That trust has put her in her Fathers arms.
