Theresa "TOREATHA" Mae Rogers Kelly

She was affectionately known as "T", Reesa, and Mother Kelly, a retired CNA at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital. A so-loved mother, godmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and devoted friend departed this life on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in El Paso, TX. She went to sleep and decided that she was ready to go home and be with Jesus. She was 85 years old, born April 8, 1938. She was a lifelong member of 75 years at the New Hope B.C. in Baton Rouge, La., and a graduate of the class of 1956 of Capital High School. She leaves to mourn her irreplaceable space, her only beloved daughter Mydra L. Kelly, of Baton Rouge, LA, and two living sons Erren Kelly of Lynn Massachusetts, and Kevin Kelly (Camilla) of El Paso TX.; Three grandchildren and two great-grands. Adrianna Montanez (Great-grand- Marley) Marissa Montanez, and Joshua Kelly (Great-grand Ariel) all of El Paso TX. She has one living 93 y./o. Aunt, Wilhemena Bailey of Baton Rouge, LA, A faithful and loving goddaughter, Abc Lajuan Harris of Dallas TX. A cherished godson Desi Rheams and adopted godson Julien Lefleur, both of Baton Rouge, adopted godchildren Albert and Carolyn Shield as well as a host of Bonus Children. Four sisters, Velma Armstrong, of Houston TX., Rosia Johnson, Cleotha Alexis, and Sonda Rogers, all of Baton Rouge La. One brother, Andrew Patin (Elaine) of Baton Rouge. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends, as well as the New Hope B. C. Family. and a fur grandbaby "Blessed".
