Obituary

Matthew 11: 28-30 Tramaine Rochelle Green was the second child of three daughters born to William and Rosa Green on February 26, 1978 in Independence, Louisiana. Tramaine departed this life on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Plano, Texas. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Tramaine was baptized by the late Elder Alonzo Richardson Jr. of Roseland Church of God in Christ. She was nurtured in her faith by Bishop Charles Gordon of Richardson Chapel Church of God in Christ in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Tramaine was a faithful attendee of Sunday School. She was a member of the Sunshine Band, Purity Class, and Youth Choir. Tramaine graduated from Scotlandville Magnet High School in 1996. She ran track and was a member of the band. She furthered her education at Southeastern Louisiana University, Our Lady of the Lake College, and University of Phoenix. Tramaine earned a Bachelors Degree in English and Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. During her studies at Southeastern Louisiana University, Tramaine was initiated into the Eta Lambda Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.She continued to exemplify sisterhood by joining the Gamma Mu Zeta Alumnae Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta and serving her community with pride and dignity. Tramaine was united in holy matrimony to her soulmate Terrance Marshall on January 6, 2001. They were married for 19 years. Tramaine and Terrance had an unbreakable bond. God has left to celebrate her memory: her husband, Terrance Marshall; parents, Rosa (Vernell) Jones, William (Shirley) Green; sisters, Tiffany Green, Tamekka (Nicole) Grant, honorary sister, Chandra (Terry) Allen- Ellzey; god-sister; Amber (Travis) Hart-Stuart; god-brothers; Brandon Wagner and Brian Septs; mother-in-law, Gwen Marshall; grandmother, Georgia Lee Williams; brother-in-laws. sister-in-laws; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, paternal grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
