Willie "Junior" Edward Jackson was born on June 28, 1973 in Centreville, Mississippi to the union of Willie and Jerrel (Anderson) Jackson. Junior transitioned to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. Junior accepted Christ at an early age. Junior was educated in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System , where he graduated from high school at Arlington Vocational Preparatory Academy. Junior was a loving, caring, and sweet person who loved to share times with his family who cared for him deeply. He loved his family with all of his heart. He also enjoyed listening to music, laughing and talking. Junior was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by his parents Willie and Jerrel (Anderson) Jackson (Baton Rouge, LA); two sisters– Tranecia Jackson-Alpough and Latoria Jackson (Baton Rouge, LA); three brothers– Ledale (Karen) Jackson (Baton Rouge, LA), Michael (Kabranet) Jackson (Zachary, LA) and Nicholas (Shalinda) Jackson (Plaquemine, LA). Also left to cherish his memory are a host of aunts, uncles, necies, a nephew, cousins and friends. Junior was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents– Willie and Mary (Singleton) Jackson; Maternal grandmother– Sarah Cage; a brother Germaine Jackson and a brother-in-law Derulic Alpough.
